  1. Study Abroad Global Mobility Team

  2. When can you go on exchange How it works Covering the cost Your exchange will form part of your degree, with credits earned counting towards your degree. For all non language students teaching will be done in English, no matter where you decide to study. Students usually go on exchange in the second or third year of their degree. You can study abroad for a single semester or a full academic year. You can still apply for your normal student funding whilst you are away, and your tuition fees will continue to be paid to ENU rather than your host uni. Study Abroad

  3. The benefits of studying abroad… Get to know another culture and make yourself more globally aware. Learn new skills and develop current ones through new experiences. Gain knowledge in a new subject area or discover a different perspective on something you already know. A fun way to make lifelong friends, contacts and networks.

  4. We have partners all around the world We are international Check out the documents in the files tab of our booth for a full list of partners.

  5. Overseas Exchange Erasmus+ Exchange Students will need to pay for their own visa, transport, accommodation, insurance and living costs. Students can apply for the ENU mobility grant or funding from external organisations. Currently students taking part in an Erasmus+ exchange need to pay for their own transport, accommodation and living costs. They then receive a Grant of up to €420 per month to help make the most of the experience.

  6. SLC Funding Brexit Post Brexit – we are not sure what will be replacing Erasmus+ Students who have a compulsory exchange as part of their programme should check with their funding body to see if they can claim a travel or exchange grant to help with the cost of transport, visas and insurance.

  7. Other exchange opportunities  ISEP A US organisation which helps arrange all aspects of your exchange for a fee.  Short Term Exchanges If you aren’t able to study abroad as part of your degree you can still go on an exchange through a summer school or short term placement.

  8. Want to study abroad? Next steps: Settle in & enjoy freshers’ week Come along to an info session Research preferred destinations Speak to your programme leader Apply by early Dec to go on exchange in the next academic year.
