  2. Introduction • Reminder: • We are designing and building a clock that updates daily – via wireless internet connection – by obtaining the NTP timestamp. • Clock will stay on time and will update automatically for daylight savings and upon being plugged in. University of Portland School of Engineering

  3. Scorecard • Latest accomplishments: • Gave MAC address to IS • Connected I/O Expansion board with PIC32 and WiFi module University of Portland School of Engineering

  4. Additional Accomplishments • Met early in the semester and created permanent meeting times • Added weekly milestones for the duration of the project • Ordered and received parts to connect PIC32 with WiFi module • Hence, new finalized budget University of Portland School of Engineering

  5. Evidence of Progress University of Portland School of Engineering

  6. Plans welcome to woopwoop • Set up weekly meeting time with Inan • Complete hardware components for design • Connect combined I/O board to LCD display • Conceptualize key milestones down the road • Begin work on casing diagram and final report University of Portland School of Engineering

  7. Milestones University of Portland School of Engineering

  8. Concerns/Issues • Figuring out precisely what pins to connect between I/O Expansion board and LCD module • Many available options on I/O board • Accounting for enough time to code and debug the clock • Part failure or requirement of further parts would exceed budget University of Portland School of Engineering

  9. Conclusions • Scorecard • Plans • Milestones • Concerns/Issues University of Portland School of Engineering
