  1. WORK WE DO • Occupation is the job that a person does.Everyone has to work to earn money.That work becomes his job.People have different occupations. All these people help us.No work is big or small Every work is important.We should have respect for all the jobs.

  2. Doctor – Treats the patients. • Engineer – Designs and repairs machines, roads, etc • Policeman –Maintains law and order. • Nurse – Takes care of the sick people. • Farmer – Grows crops ,fruits, and vegetables for us. • Carpenter –Makes and repairs wooden things. • Plumber –Fits and repairs pipes and taps.

SUMMERY • We see different persons doing different types of work around us. • Some persons like doctor, teacher, postman, policeman,sweeper etc give their services to us. • Some people like farmer, gardener, blacksmith, potter, carpenter etc produce things for us. • We need their help to make our life easy.
