  2. Well….are you ready for another story?

  3. One that is full of mystery…crime…betrayal?

  4. A part of the bigstory that could describe many people sitting in this room.

  5. Look at the person you are sitting by…this story might be about them!

  6. Maybe you should move and sit by someone else!

  7. On the count of three everyone close your eyes so people can move if they feel the need

  8. 1 – 2 - 3

  9. Okay – you have been warned and you have chosen to stay, so don’t get mad at me!

  10. When the story talks about you or your neighbor!

  11. It’s not my fault!

  12. It’s a good thing you didn’t move because the story is going to talk about all of us!

  14. Overview of Chapter 25

  15. Jesus asks His Disciples “Who do you say I am?”

  16. “YOU ARE THE MESSIAH.”

  17. He then began to teach them:

  18. He taught them these things: I must suffer many things

  19. He taught them these things: I must suffer many things I will be rejected by the elders…chief priest… teachers of the law

  20. He taught them these things: I must be killed

  21. He taught them these things: and after three days rise again

  22. He taught them these things: People are starting to get suspicious at his teachings

  23. He taught them these things: He said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.

  24. He taught them these things: “Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going.”

  25. He taught them these things: “Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt there, which no one has ever ridden.

  26. He taught them these things: Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you “Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.’”

  27. Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted

  28. “Hosanna!”

  29. “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”

  30. “Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!”

  31. He taught them these things: “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”

  32. Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem was as a

  33. humble servant!
