Save the desired Case ID in HTML format on PC
Run the import utility of SmartDesk Manager to get all case details of customer
Data Imported gets stored in SmartDesk and the call gets displayed in red color, as new call is displayed in red color. Now this has to be allocated to concerned engineer for further action.
You can print the job card or call slip with all relevant details of customer and call. This will be handed over to customer and ask him to get this at the time of delivery after repairs.

Based on testing of Laptop, one needs to update the information in SmartDesk for parts ordered, parts received or call closed. Parallely CiRIMS also needs to be updated. Depending on the status call list gets displayed in various color codes.
With different color coding, one can get the status of total calls in one screen. Corrective actions can be taken immediately. Various filters can be applied to get selective information at a glance.
Once the replacement part is received, it automatically goes to Fault Tag List. Fault Tags can be printed directly from system for the faulty parts which are to be sent to Acer with required details. We can accurately trace the faulty parts.
