Joint's Coach Glucosamine - 750mg - 180 Capsules

Your body uses glucosamine, a natural compound, to create one of the main building blocks of joint cartilage -- proteoglycans. As you age, the amount of glucosamine created by the body decreases. This causes cartilage and bones to scrape against each other. Joints become damaged, and the lubricating synovial fluid in joint spaces becomes thin and watery. Supplementing your diet with glucosamine may help to replenish these fluids.

  1. Joint’s Coach Glucosamine Glucosamine was first prepared in 1876 by Georg Ledderhose by the hydrolysis of chitin with concentrated hydrochloric acid. The stereochemistry was not fully defined until the 1939 work of Walter Haworth. Glucosamine and chondroitin are two molecules that make up the type of cartilage found within joints. Inside your joints, cartilage undergoes a constant process of breakdown and repair.

  2. How It Works! ? Cartilage  contains compounds called proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans (GAG's) contained within a collagen matrix. GAG's and proteoglycans form long chains and lattices to which the collagen adheres. Glucosamine is the major building block by which the body manufactures proteoglycans and GAG's, and the supply of glucosamine is the rate limiting step in the manufacturing process.

  3. Benefits • Glucosamine may help to prevent cartilage degeneration and treat arthritis. • Its use as a therapy for osteoarthritis.. • It is also used in the formation of tendons. • Glucosamine supplementation can help reduce and in some cases eliminate dependency on nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs

  4. Supplement Facts Glucosamine not only stimulates production of cartilage, but improves joint function and aids in reducing joint pain, including those suffering from arthritis and athletic injuries to the joints.. Number of capsules per day – 2 capsules. Variants • Joint's Coach Glucosamine- 750mg - 180 Capsules

  5. Why Do You Need Glucosamine Glucosamine is one of the raw materials used to form new cartilage in the body. It is needed to form the glycosaminoglycans and synovial fluid that help keep the joints cushioned and well lubricated. Glucosamine has been proven in several clinical studies to help ease symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and bursitis, as well as other disorders associated with a breakdown of the cartilage regenerative process. Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitinsulfate are components of normal cartilage. They are the building blocks for proteoglycans and stimulate chondrocytes to make new collagen and proteoglycans..
