  2. 8 THEMATIC AREAS covering the 12 OUTCOMES of ALC2 NATIONAL ICT POLICIES (a) UNIVERSAL ACCESS POLICIES (b) PUBLIC SERVICE CONNECTIVITY (c) BROADBAND NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE (d) SPECIAL GROUP INCLUSION (e, f, g) AFFORDABLE ICT EQUIPMENT (h) OPTIMIZED CONNECTIVITY (i, j, k) TRADITIONAL MEDIA INCLUSION (l) For each area, 2 tabs : ITU activities (based on ITU Roadmap for ALC2) Administrations Feedback (based on Questionnaire) www.itu.int/ITU-D/wsis/C2/

  3. Results of questionnaire regarding implementation levels of Action Line C2 outcomes Feedback received from Administrations by April 30th, 2010 (Questionnaire sent out in February 2010) Based on 15% return so far – to be continued !

  4. ITU ROADMAP FOR WSIS ALC2 ITU is the sole Facilitator for ALC2 & ITU-D is the main Implementer. All stakeholders are expected to play their roles and make concerted efforts at national, regional and international levels in order to meet ALC2 requirements. The administrations are expected to identify ICTs as one of their highest priorities and to take necessary policy, regulatory, legal and financial measures for the development of ICT infrastructure. The roadmap can be found under ITU activities (under each thematic area) on the new web gateway and will be updated gradually.
