  1. How to Apply Foundation with Brush? The Body Shop India

  2. A foundation literally forms its very namesake when it comes to flawless make-up. Most women believe that finding the right shade of foundation is their biggest challenge but later realize that finding a perfect foundation brush is equally important.  It is a popular belief that foundation brushes are used only with liquid foundations. But, this is not true. The type of brushes differs for powder and liquid foundations, all aimed at giving you an even base and impeccable finish.

  3. Why We Need Foundation Brush? It is just super easy and quick to apply a foundation with your fingers, isn’t it? Or just take a pinch of it and buff it with a puff or sponge. Though your fingers appear to give you more control, the finish with a foundation brush is unmatched.  Here are some reasons why you must switch to a foundation brush (if you are not already using them): • They help create an even finish The foundation brushes in India and abroad are made to allow buffing of the product evenly into the skin. This gives even coverage and finish that does not look patchy or partly undone.

  4. Less messy Using a brush is way less messy than using your fingers to spread the foundation evenly on your face and neck. While a dot and spread method are used both with fingers and a foundation brush, it is easier, quicker and cleaner to use the brush. • Avoid fingerprints or unwanted marks  The biggest problem with using fingers to apply your foundation is that your finish will contain some unwanted marks or fingerprints. This can be avoided using a foundation brush. Infact, using a brush allows you to buff the foundation using circular motions, which is not possible when using your fingers.

  5. How to Apply Foundation With a Brush? Step 1: There are two ways to begin: Apply the liquid foundation on the back of your hand and dip the foundation brush into it to apply. Dot cover your face with foundation Step 2: Use your foundation brush in circular motions to buff the product into your skin. Always work from the centre of the face outwards as it is the centre that requires more work than the sides. Step 3: Continue to dip your foundation brush into the liquid using the same circular motion. Step 4: Continue the circular buffing motion in the areas that need more coverage and slowly move towards your hairline and jawline.

  6. Step 5: Blend the foundation well with your hairline and jawline to make it look as natural as possible. Once you have adequately covered your face and neck with the foundation, it is time to finish it off! Using a foundation brush leaves very fine streaks on your skin that need to disappear. Grab your blending sponge to finish off the step! Voila! Your skin now looks flawless and even. It’s now time for the powder to make your foundation last longer!
