  4. Situation • Bob is in Miss Nasty’s class. He is getting an F in the class. He has only finished 2 out of 13 assignments. He didn’t even attempt to take the last test they had in class. His assignments have been the same as everyone else’s in the class. No one read the test out loud to him. The teacher says that Bob won’t even try to do any work in class and is disruptive. She says that all he does is flirt with the girls and make rude comments.

  5. What accommodations would help Bob succeed? • Let’s look at the accommodations sheet together.

Bob could…… • Take accommodation sheet to teacher and ask for shortened assignments, copies of notes, and someone to read tests out loud • Go to case manager with problem • Ask for work to do in learning lab or for test to be read to him in the learning lab. • Complete what he does know and ask case manager to help with the rest of the assignment.
