  8. Guiding Principles for Scheduling Courses Courses scheduled at standard times during the 8 am - 5 pm period receive priority in classroom assignments. A department may schedule no more than 50% of their courses between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. A department may not schedule a time period more than once for every <#> courses. For multiple sections of the same course (e.g., ENG-W 130), a time period may not be used more than once per every <#> sections. For every five lecture courses (3 credit hours each) offered by a department, <#> must be in the MWF format.
