  2. WHAT ARE FIRE DOORS A fire door is one of the essential components of the passive fire protection system. It is a special type of door that comes with a specific fire-resistance rating. The rating mentioned on the door signifies the time it can withstand the fire. It works as a barrier between the rooms and prevents the fire spread allowing the occupants to vacate the building.
