FRENCH AIR FORCE INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION • Develop and enhance by international cooperations, the French Air Force operational capabilities • In accordance with the government (including the « Livre Blanc ») • In support of EMA in keeping with the general pattern of EMA policy and guidances, • In all fields (concept-doctrine, staff, equipments, organisation, interoperability, training, operationnal lessons learned, pooling an sharing, operational engagements…)

Organisation of the international chain in the FAF • DRE is the CEMAA and MGA advisor for the international affairs and he is in charge to built and conduct policy in the field of international relationships • He is representing CEMAA • In accordance with the CEMA guidelines, he is responsible for : • The FAF participation in the international staff talks • The FAF cooperation with the foreign air forces • DRE has under his authority • A bilateral cooperation cell (CCB) and « visit cell » 11

DEFENSE ATTACHÉS NETWORK • Establish and follow-up the defense attachés network concerning air matters • 88 accredited air defense attachés in Paris • Animate this network according guidelines • Promote the bilateral cooperation and coordinate the high air authority appointments • Exchange air information for a better mutual understanding • We are also facilitators Enhance mutual confidence

CONCLUSION • FAF is undergoing a deep transformation in a joint staff organisation • FAF is always ready to developp and enhance cooperations with in Air Forces Framworks and constraints • Cooperations aims are to prepare and support air operations More network centric Lessons learned : cooperation action- efficiency -Priority Dialogue - confidence – duration towards the way ahead
