  2. From the 5th of February – 24th of May I am in Indonesia. This is already the 3rd time I am here and again there is a lot of work to do. Here I work in the technical department of the mission hospital on the island of Borneo.

  3. A beautiful view over the Hospital

  4. For the poor people is it free to be treated in this hospital. A beautiful testimony of the love of Jesus Christ to the people of different religions here.

  5. Innovation Repair

  6. The humidity here in the jungle can reach up to 100%. That means that much of the equipment wont last that long, and there is a lot more maintenance needed. This is when my presence is very much valued. And there is a lot to do here. Also 2 of the 3 washing machines have stopped working, so they get the preference to be fixed first. The 2 inch water pipes which I have installed last year for the water supply to the washing machine are a great success. Within 30 seconds about 100 liters of water can be filled in the washing machine. And it is well heated water. Now we think, how could we have ever done without?

  7. In the Mission Hospital there are 250 local workers of which more than 12 doctors and 3 spiritual workers whom are among the patients to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In February it’s the 35th birthday of the hospital, here is a panoramic picture taken in the Chapel of our gathering for prayer and giving thanks.

  8. On the picture I am changing the wiring of the washing machine. With the use of switches I will make the washing machines manual. That saves a lot of wiring and electronics (which deteriorate). It takes more physical work now though to have the washing machine turn half a minute to the right and then half a minute to the left for 10 minutes, then draining then centrifuging then filling and washing again and that 3 times and ready. Now anybody can do the laundry.

  9. Also I will continue to innovate the ICU room, and in the sterilization department there is a lot of work too.
