Top 10 Ways to Delay Your Grants • Send what’s ready, then send the rest and ask SED staff to find and combine them • Send a correction or revision within 2 weeks • Budget more than the available funds • Ignore SED requests for missing items • Include incorrect contact info • Only send one original (no copies or CDs) • Omit original signatures or just send copies • Omit budget narratives • Omit the certifications & assurances • Omit the checklist
