2. Status and News : bug in MC11c • Truth-level bug in (some of ) the mc11c samples • (10~20%) Fraction of MC samples with bug ” mc_n==0” • Need to check all W/Z+gamma MC11c samples https://indico.cern.ch/getFile.py/access?contribId=0&resId=0&materialId=1&confId=175693

3. Status and News : D3PD slimming • EW group has proposed a common D3PD slimming for all diboson analysis. • Reduce the current SM W/Z D3PD size by a factor of 8~9. • Only need 1~2 hours to run through the whole data and MC slimed D3PD. • Only develop for WZ and ZZ for now • No photon variable in the slimming for now • Will be good if one of us can be our group D3PD contact to keep track of photon D3PD variables in slimming.

4. Electron Cutflow review • Feng, Henso and Matthew have agreed . • Could Evgeny chat with Feng and Henso about electron Calo isolation offline ?

5. Muon Cutflow review • Feng, Henso and Matthew have agreed . • Could Matthew and Veit compare the remaining difference in muoncalo isolation ?

6. Photon Cutflow review • Feng and Henso agrees on electron channel • Matthew and Henso agrees on muon channel • Could Evgeny chat with Feng and Henso about photon Calo isolation offline , and post the conclusion on mail lists ?

8. data driven Z background • Z or Zg background to Wg analysis is much larger than rel 16 analysis • Need a Z background control region to study MET performance • May be Side band method developed by WW group • M(l;gamma) Vs MET • Other new methods are welcome • Could Mia start looking into this issue ? 9. Photon isolation cuts optimization • Need to under the isolation efficiency variation in different in-time , out-of-time pileup condition . • Optimize the selection cuts based on this study • Could Feng start looking into that in rel 17?
