Memorable Day in Subic: Wildlife Encounters, Horse Riding, and Marine Mammals

DESCRIPTION

On our first day in Subic, we visited Wildlife in Need, engaging in a variety of exciting activities. We learned about various animals during a fascinating show-and-tell, followed by mural painting where we had fun bringing animal pictures to life. We also created enrichment challenges for the Macaques before enjoying horse riding and the challenge of horseshoe throwing at El Kabayo. Later that evening, we played capture the flag in the dark. The next day included a visit to Ocean Adventure to learn about marine mammals, concluding with a memorable talent show before we packed up to leave.

  1. Cww in Subic 2011

  2. Day 1: In Subic we went to Wildlife In Need known as WIN. The first station was show and tell. The person showed us about the form and function of the animals. One of them was an owl, eagle, tarantula, beetle, mealworm, scorpion, and a snake.

  3. Second station in WIN. We did Mural Painting. • We painted the wall with our paint brushes. We painted the pictures that aren’t colored. I had a really wonderful time painting those picture of animals.

  4. Last but not least we did the enrichment of Macaques • We had to make a box or challenge with food inside to educate the monkeys. We got divided into 3 groups, I was doing it for the bearcat with 8 people.

  5. After the enrichment we went to El Kabayo. We rode horses and played horse shoe throwing • I rode the horse and played horse shoes. The horse shoe throwing was really hard but I had a lot of fun.

  6. We went back to the resort. After dinner we played capture the flag. • Capture the flag was exciting because we get to play it without flashlights and it was dark. And I barely can’t see anything!

  7. The next day • Most of the activities were kind of scientific and stuff. But my favourite was the marine mammals. We went to ocean adventure and learned about the dolphins and how to save a stranded dolphin.

  8. The Talent Show • The talent show was good because all of the people there did a good job! Especially Ms. Keithe!

  9. The Last Day in Subic • The last day we had a 45 minutes free time.

  10. After the break we had lunch and leave T_T • We had to pack-up first before we leave, it was a great field trip :D
