  1. Finding Inspiration in Everyday Life

  2. Sticking to a schedule is a great way to keep track of everything in your life. A lot of people would say that they don’t know where they would be without their planner. But sometimes even a daily routine can make the most focused grow tiresome. Couple that with exhaustion from overworking and you can risk developing a mental block. This block can hinder your creativity and just about any area of your life. A burden like this may feel imaginary right now, but its effects can feel very real. So real that it may keep you from knowing how to find your life purpose. While this blockage may be part of everyone’s life, it doesn't mean it should block your everything. In fact, it’s manageable. So, the question stands, how do you combat a creative block? One answer is to find new inspiration. That sounds grand, but it’s a lot easier than you think. Inspiration is everywhere. It’s in everyday life, no matter where and what that is for you. The two easiest places to look are inside and outside.

  3. Finding Inspiration Online An easy place to start on your journey for inspiration is the internet. Not only is the internet home to social media but it is also the best place to learn about almost anything without ever leaving the comfort of your home. For example, you can listen to life changing stories from people with wondrous life experiences or watch videos of interesting events that took place too far ago for someone to have seen them in person. Websites like YouTube can be the gateway to learning new skills like knitting or coding as well as educational outlets for topics like ancient mythology or psychological theory. Another way to take advantage of the Internet is to browse for Non Profit Organizations with inspiring mission statements. Browsing their websites can inspire you to get to work on your dreams and ambitions. Plus, you might come across an NGO that you really like and start helping them grow. Getting inspiration in everyday life can be about giving too. The internet is connected to almost everywhere in the world so why not use that to your advantage and see what it has to offer? With so many things to see and learn about, the internet is a wonderful place to search for inspiration.

  4. Finding Inspiration in Nature If you feel that being indoors is part of the problem, nature has always been a great inspiration to many. The outdoors have inspired paintings and books and music, all aimed at catching its essence and showing others. A simple walk outside can help take the edge off. Having a meal outside may give you more comfort that allows ideas to flow evermore easily, as we are more prone to being calm when we eat. You could even utilize your calmness and meditate outside. There’s no better way to clear your mind of all distractions than to meditate. It may even boost your productivity in the long run. Another good idea is taking a small trip to a park or a beach. Somewhere that provides a change of scenery is ideal as it may help trigger ideas that would not have come to you while sitting in your home. Different settings mean different ideas which could lead to different perspectives. While you can find inspiration in any of these places, it is imperative to keep a clear mind throughout the searching process. Without a clear mind, new ideas cannot take residence and manifest into the innovative ideas you are capable of. That being said, mental health is also important to maintain—especially when it comes to being creative.

  5. Making sure to get adequate rest as well as taking some downtime for yourself are two things that everybody should prioritize, or at least be aware of. While creating new things is fun and exciting, you cannot bring your best ideas to life if you yourself are not at your best. Journaling is a great way to spend time focusing on your ideas and to collect your thoughts. If you write it all down on paper, you may find a new perspective to explore. The key to all of this is balance. If you are continually working towards balance in your life, the inspiration will find you and your ideas will be sure to follow.
