Discovering Yreka: A Glimpse into My Small Town Life

Yreka is my charming small town, where I enjoy life on Yama Street. I attend Jackson Street School and deliver papers after school. Our local mail pick-up is at the corner of Butte and Oregon Streets, and the community thrives with places like the theater on Broadway Street, run by the Hagerman family. The Daily Grind cafe serves delicious chai tea and raspberry scones. We shop at Raley’s, the best market in town, open from early morning to late night. Yreka is truly a wonderful place to call home!

  2. I live in a small town called Yreka

  3. I live on Yama Street

  4. I go to Jackson Street School

  5. Here is where I work delivering papers after school

  6. This is where we pick up the mail It is located on the corner of Butte and Oregon Streets It is open from 9-5 Monday through Friday

  7. This is the local theatre on Broadway Street The Hagerman’s own and run it. It is open everyday and matinees on weekends. Call 842-3472 for movie times.

  8. This is the police department It is located in the old public library building on Main Street. I have only been inside once, it is sort of scary.

  9. The Daily Grind- Where Mom gets her morning chai tea They make yummy raspberry scones too!! Open early in the morning to the afternoon.
