Dapps smart contract • A smart contract is a special protocol designed to provide, verify and enforce contracts. • Specifically, smart contracts are a big part of why blockchains are called “decentralized,” allowing us to perform traceable, irreversible, and secure transactions without the need for a third party. • The smart contract contract contains all the information about the transaction, and the resulting action is only executed if the requirements are met. • The difference between Bridge smart contracts and traditional paper contracts is that smart contracts are generated by computers.
