Challenges Agri-Hub Level • Assuring the functioning of the Agri-Hubs term with 1-1.5 FTE • Ambition: adding knowledge & private sector professionals to the Agri-Hub team • Resource mobilization for joint programming at country level • Increased network intensity & deal flow with local and international (agri-) private sector • Local ownership and membership commitment expressed by financial and in-kind contributions

Challenges (continued) Agri-ProFocus partnership level • The dilemma of (con-)colleagues or how to play the ‘black and white game’ & end WIN-WIN • Increase membership of those Dutch private sector players that source/operate/partner on local markets • Assured & increased financial & programmatic commitment beyond 2012 by “Dutch” members • Jointly evaluating the past 4 years & programming the next 4 year phase 2013 -2015

Opportunities APF network 2012 and beyond • Contributing to implementation of Food Security Policy MINBUZA & MINEL&I • On demand of Dutch Government: agreed responsibilities & tasks Food Security Support Initiative & MASP’s MINBUZA & MINEL&I (Proposal was sent to DDE/MINBUZA) • Connecting & sharing knowledge development within APF network & MINBUZA initiated knowledge agenda “Food security”. • Branding, marketing & promoting Agri-Hub model & methodology beyond present countries, network & priorities. • Prepare proposal for APF network contribution to IS chapter of top sector Agro&Food (on demand)
