  2. Seattle Maternity Special One Year Nursing ESL program • Program Highlights • Students can choose to register for First Aid / CPR and / or HIV / AIDSEach is a minimum 7 hour course. They are offered through Continuing Education for $70.00 each. • Minimum class size is 10 students • English skills level required is IBT 50 – 55. • Courses are held late afternoon or early evening. • Completion certificate given upon successful course completion. • The Home Stay fee for the first month includes the application fee (Schedule and fees subject to change). • Service fee includes airport pick up and drop off, welcome dinner and day to day assistance during the program.

Seattle Maternity Special One Year Nursing ESL program • Application Requirements: • College application form. • Current non-refundable application fee. • Original, or certified copies of official transcripts from high-school and / or colleges. • TOEFL score or other approved documentation of current English skills. • Bank statement verifying available funds in $U.S. to cover educational and living expenses. While attending Lake Washington Technical College. • Proof of health care insurance (We suppl that coverage). • Work resume or statement regarding work history. • Optional: A letter from the student explaining why they want to study at Lake Washington Technical College

  4. Seattle Maternity Special One Year Nursing ESL program During the program, it will be possible to apply for a U.S. Government visa that will enable a student to apply for a job with an employer and work here for one year, after completion of the program.

Seattle Maternity Nursing Program #2 - English and Medical 4 Week Study Tour Program • Custom Designed for Taiwanese Licensed RNs and Nursing Students • Program Goals: • That the participants improve their English language skills. • That the participants understand the US Higher-Ed system enough so that if they choose to return in the future, they would be successful in pursuing employment opportunities in the field of Nursing.

Seattle Maternity Nursing Program #2 - English and Medical 4 Week Study Tour Program • Program Design: • English Language Instruction: • 3 hours daily: 1-hour lesson, one teacher with all students, followed • by 2-hour small-group tutoring session. • Classes will be taught by A.C.E. Professional teaching staff (head • teacher and tutors), and held on SPU campus. • Lectures (Nursing, Health Care, etc.) • 1.5 hours, 2-3 days per week. • A.C.E. will contract with Seattle Nursing Professionals (SPU • Professors, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance nurses, etc.). • Program-related Excursions • Cultural-related Excursions.
