  • Minimum standards of basic labour rights:
    • freedom of association
    • the right to organize
    • collective bargaining
    • abolition of forced labour
    • equality of opportunity and treatment

Core ILO Conventions
  • The principles concerning the fundamental
  • rights of the core Conventions are:
  • freedom of association and the effective
  • recognition of the right to collective bargaining;
  • the elimination of all forms of forced or
  • compulsory labour;
  • the effective abolition of child labour;
  • the elimination of discrimination in respect of
  • employment and occupation.
