OMAP4 Display Patches Status Update - August 2010

This summary provides an update on the status of crucial display and framebuffer patches for the OMAP4 platform as of August 3, 2010. All necessary DSS/FB patches for the Panda project are scheduled for release by the end of July. The only remaining patch pertaining to color modes is expected to be completed this week. The OMAP3 HWMOD release has been postponed to August 6, and it is currently ready and awaiting feedback from the PM team. Development for OMAP3 display patches will initiate after L24.9 is released, aiming for a start date of August 16.
