  5. Convened a Regional Municipal Regulator and Grease Pumper Meeting GOVERNMENT REGULATE EVERY THING PUMPING COMPANIES ONLY WANTED HELP THAT WOULD INCREASE THEIR BUSINESS AND REDUCE COST

PREFERED PUMPER PROGRAMLocal Program Development • Work with Restaurants/kitchens to use a Preferred Pumper, who will: • Clean & maintain the trap/interceptor • Document the trap/interceptor clean out • Submit the paper work to the Municipality • Work with Grease Pumpers • Region wide set of pumping standards. • Participating Pumpers commit to a set of BMP’s. • Municipalities will identify a single contact person for the Pumpers.

  8. PREFERRED PUMPER PROGRAMNeeded Preferred Pumper Improvements Notifying, in some fashion, the municipality prior to each pump-out. Email Pump-out Schedule night before (Before 5:00 pm) Email to Include the Driver’s Schedule & approximate time of 1st stop Driver & Contact cell phone number (one time process) Reporting each pump-out, in some form, to the respective municipality Complete & Submit FOG report within 10 days & as accurate as possible Reinforcing the drivers that grease and solids measurements should be recorded at the time of the pump-out. Estimate inches of Grease & Solids Pump out Completely Remove & Clean Baffles Refill with Water Note Condition of Trap

PREFERED PUMPER PROGRAMMUNICIPALITY City Inspector will Not Hold up Driver Unless Something is Wrong Municipality is Responsible to set Inspection Schedule to Driver’s Schedule Municipality is responsible for interaction with FSE to Establish Frequency for Service or Repairs to Trap/Interceptor

Regulatory • Regulatory Increases in Services Per Trap as Needed
