  2. Regarding CIHT data shown in next two slides: Energy input = 5 mA for 0.4 Seconds at an average of 0.79 Volts. Energy output = 5 mA for 4.1 Seconds at an average of 0.78 Volts Power input = (Duty cycle)*(Volts)*(Current) = (0.4/4.5)*(0.005)*(0.79) = 0.351 mW Power Output = (Duty Cycle)*(Volts)*(Current) = (4.1/4.5)*(0.005)*(0.78) = 3.55 mW Ratio = Output/Input = 3.55/0.351 = 11.2 Gain = (100%)*(Output/Input) = (100%)*(3.55/0.351)= 1120% Claims taken from BLP’s website regarding CIHT Output and input current could be measured using the exact same 1 ohm resistor (volts across resistor would be 0.005 V). Voltage across the cell remains fairly constant at 0.78 to 0.79 Volts. Total error for power measurements can easily be less than 3% with good equipment.
