  5. The Event: Logistics • You provide us with title/topic • Location for poster provided to you • You will be presenting poster • Part time presenting • Part time viewing • Part time snacking • Food will be served during the event 2007 AICML Poster Session

Poster Details • ONE POSTER PER PERSON • Group posters are OK, but each individual must present a poster • If no topic is set, a general Machine Learning Topic poster can be created • A partial list of topics will be provided • Feel free to choose your own topics too! • New format posters preferred • HOWEVER… Older posters are acceptable (for this event) 2007 AICML Poster Session

Printing – Part 1 • Best bet : AICT in GSB • URL:http://helpdesk.ualberta.ca/printing/ • AICML will cover printing costs • Payment Options: Out of Pocket • Print poster, pay for poster, obtain PROPER receipt and turn in expense claim to Leslie Acker (AICML Offices) • Payment Options: U of A Indent • Print poster, obtain indent from Leslie Acker, pick up poster • AICML may do “pick-up-runs”…after printing, send email to davidrw@cs and we can pick it up once it is ready • (we will need to know your CCID) 2007 AICML Poster Session

Printing – Part 3 Printing tips • Ask for a full receipt if you are paying out-of-pocket • Always specify a 2” margin as it advises in printing instructions • Maximum plotter width (wide plotter) is 54 inches. Therefore, max poster width/height is • 52 inches! • Always preview before printing • If possible, save text “as curves” 2007 AICML Poster Session
