  4. Our new travel plan! • We are joining forces with another St. Louis school, Ladue Horton-Watkins, and 2 schools from Colorado. I have traveled with this group before and we had a wonderful time. 5. Arrive in Frankfurt and travel to Würzburg • A fellow by the name of Charlemagne –oops, did I drop something?- used this city as his stomping ground back in the day…the 8th century to be more precise. It is a gorgeous area and I’m glad to be able to include it on our tour.

  6. Erfurt • Erfurt is the capital of Thuringia. • It has a little something for everyone. • Martin Luther lived in Erfurt as a student and • attended the University of Erfurt and stayed • on as a monk from 1501-1511.
