Aim >> The aim of the Marketing Presentation is to provide an opportunity for the engineering students to prepare a strategic business model of establishing a firm which can produce their own design at a certain rate (say 10,000 vehicles per year) and market it. Judges can be considered as hypothetical capital investors who can invest into team’s business model to support in establishment of that firm. Instructions >> • Use the given format only, no other format will be accepted. • Presentation should contain 10 slides for main presentation. • Total time for presentation per team = 25 minutes • Presentation : 15 minutes • Q&A session : 10 minutes • Use of videos, photos, animation, graphics, charts and prototype etc is encouraged during presentation. • Presentations must be prepared in MS PowerPoint format and maximum size should not exceed 10 MB. • Carry the presentation in main event in a formatted pen drive with file name <Team ID_TeamName_Marketing Presentation> • Presentations must not be mailed to any ID until and unless specified by Efficycle Technical Committee through email or web notification.     3. Presentation Requirements Slide-1: Title page • Same as the title page of the format. (SAE NIS logo should be placed on each slide) Slide-2: Vehicle Views • Photograph of the actual vehicle must be shown. Slide-3: Features of Vehicle • Include Technical Specifications in brief. Slide-4: Unique Selling Proposition (USP) Slide-5: Market Survey • Provide the results of market survey done on limited population to understand and analyze the demand of product (efficycle) EFFI-CYCLE 2014

Presentation Requirements Slide-6: Different Concepts & Variants • Clearly specify the different concepts & variants that may be used as a consumer product depending upon the customers’ requirement. Slide-7: Plant Layout for Mass Production • Describe the machinery used, material & process flow etc. Slide-8: Cost of Product In Mass Production • Estimation of cost of a single vehicle when produced in bulk (say 10,000 vehicles per year). Slide-9: Break Even Analysis • Calculate time and number of units for break even. Slide-10: Marketing Strategies • Specify Sales & After Sales strategies separately. EFFI-CYCLE 2014

    5. Marketing Poster 1. A marketing poster is required from each and every team. This poster should show the Theme of the individual team’s ‘Efficycle’ participating in the event on which the team have built the vehicle. 2. This theme must be supported by a Slogan that will be mentioned on the poster itself >> Poster Size: A2 >> Orientation: Landscape or Portrait >> Type: Hand drawn, painted, flex printed or any other suitable method used for preparation of poster Note: All posters will be displayed on 1st day of the event and the winner will be announced on the basis of Best Theme & Slogan. Team captains may be asked to explain the theme of their efficycle. Display Team Number, Team Name and College Name at the bottom of poster. EFFI-CYCLE 2014
