    3. What is the main difference between the Coastal Plain and the Great Plain? The amount of precipitation

    4. It is the leading crop. Much of it is used for livestock. Why is corn important to the Central Plains?

    6. Why is more wheat than corn grown on the Great Plains? Wheat can grow in less fertile soil than corn can, and it needs less water.
