Catholic Schools Raise the Standards • Raise the standard in our prayer life and living the gospel of Jesus • Raise the standard in classroom instruction • Raise the standard in our communication to parents and to each other • Raise the standard in telling our story • Raise the standard in respectful dialogue and interactions

Catholic Identity Common prayer to begin the day: • Our Lady of Good Counsel – Counsel & Pray for us • St. Ignatius of Loyola – Pray for us • Blessed Theresa of Jesus Gerhardinger Pray for us • Scripture Verse in every classroom, every office, every location. • Each Concert, Assembly, Meeting will begin with prayer. • Each classroom has a prayer corner. • Together in Faith Days – • Oct 12, Jan 21, April 12 (teaching staff )

  5. Communicator – Monthly Newsletter preK-12 Electronically sent on the 1st Friday of each month. Articles due to Barb Chicos by previous Monday!

Technology at LCS • Justine Schrader and Kate Breiter will both serve as Technology Curriculum Integration Specialists • Each staff member will take a Technology Self Assessment ( how am I at using technology in my classroom?) Fall 2012 • Teachers will need to show progress that they are moving along the continuum in their classroom – need data and evidence! • Show Case Student “digital” work every quarter on the website – coordinated by Justine and Kate. • High School Teachers will add the technology components/strategies they are using in their classroom

Mass Schedule & Meeting Rotations • Mass – Wednesday • Primary 10:15 pm / Intermediate 8:15 am / High School 8:50 am • Admin Team – 1 & 3 Thurs @ 1:00 pm • Departments and Admin – 1st Tues @ 9:00 am • Technology – 1st Tues @ 3:30pm • Finance Council – 2nd Tues @ Noon • Faculty Council – 2nd Tues @ 3:30pm • BOE – 3rd Wed @ 5:00pm • Trustees - ?

Things to watch for in your email…. which you MUST check daily. • Staff Handbook – Acknowledgement Sheet due to building Secretary Aug 28. • Phone Listing with room assignment and extensions • Crisis Calling Tree – Print and keep at home ( might want to just print your section ) • Online Absence Form – pilot at HS 1st quarter • Online Custodian Request Form

  9. I will visit every classroom during 2012 – 2013 at LCS. I will participate in Phase III of the Capitol Campaign as a Team Captain. I will visit each Parish Council and tell the Loyola story. I will work with the Faculty Council to establish a pay scale. I will make decisions in the best interest of students, our mission, and values.
