BPCL launches nationwide customer promotion for SmartDrive on its 45th Foundation The Smart Drive app is a step further to the loyalty programme by BPCL SmartDrive already has recorded 100,000 users with over Rs.200 million worth monthly transactions Mumbai, January 24, 2021: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a ‘Maharatna’ and a Fortune Global 500 Company today announced the launch of the campaign under “Smart Drive” on the occasion of its 45th Foundation Day. In the retail campaign launched today, the customers could fetch benefits upto a whopping 100X Petromiles fueling Petrol and Speed, through a scratch card in the Smart Drive App after each transaction. The campaign was launched by Shri P.S. Ravi, Executive Director (Retail), BPCL. Being the country second largest fuel retailer, BPCL is committed to providing smart solutions to its customers as the Smart Drive campaign resonates with its tagline “Bharega Smart toh Banega Smart”. BPCL SmartDrive is a state of the art and contactless mobile fueling app offering Smart Convenience, Smart Savings, Smart Security, Smart Safety and Smart Rewards. Every transaction gets the customer Petromiles which can be redeemed for attractive rewards. SmartDrive already has a customer base of 100,000 users with over Rs.200 million worth monthly transactions as a part of the company’s dedicated service of safe, contactless, convenient and digital payment application-cum-enabled Fuel Rewards Program. Through the current “Get 100X Bonus Petromiles” campaign, BPCL expects to expand its customer base 10 fold to 1 million who will experience the best in-class value proposition through the SmartDrive Fuel Rewards program and help in enhancing digital transactions through its fuel stations in keeping with the country’s drive towards digital transformation.

About SmartDrive App: SmartDrive is accepted in over 10,000 BPCL fuel stations across the country and the brand call says “Bharega Smart toh Banega Smart”! The app is available in both Android and IoS versions and can be downloaded from Playstore and App Store. The SmartDrive app is also integrated with “Petro Card”, BPCL’s legendary card based fuel loyalty program and customers can opt to have the SmartDrive mobile app and the Petro Card free of cost under the same Customer ID offering the ultimate convenience of having both the mobile app and card versions especially for those who have multiple vehicles in the family and / or have chauffeurs who can enjoy the convenience of fuelling securely through the digital program with a common MIS and accurate spend tracking.
