  5. Thailand’s six main airports are expected to handle 150 million passengers in 2030, up from 72 million now. One of the main expansions is Suvarnabhumi Airport, which will increase its annual passenger handling capacity to 120 million passengers. It also re-opened Terminal 2 at Bangkok’s Don Mueang airport, which is now capable of handling 30 million passengers a year.
