Officer Responsibilities President Responsibilities • Provides overall direction for SUG • Maintains SUG structure and ensures each position is filled appropriately • Recommends changes in: • Officer Structure (additional positions) • Events • New committees • Replaces Officers and Committee Members when needed • Ensures SUG task and events are executed according to SUG standards • Communicates committee chairperson responsibilities

  5. Officer Responsibilities Vice President • Assists President in providing overall direction of SUG • Recommends changes in: • Officer Structure (additional positions) • Events • New committees • Acts as backup to President • Communicates committee chairperson responsibilities

  6. Officer Responsibilities Secretary • Maintains SUG Events Calendar • Maintains meeting minutes • Maintains SUG structure presentation and org chart Webmaster • Maintains SUG website • Recommends changes/additions to website

  7. Officer Responsibilities Treasurer • Maintains SUG finances • Maintains list of paid members • Recommends SUG fee increases/decreases • Approves all SUG expenses • Communicates potential shortfalls to President

Committee Chair Responsibilities Communications Chair • Recruits SUG members to participate on communications committee • Informs President of any problems, issues or improvements needed • Create printed, online and email promo content to support SUG events • Distribute promo content • Handout fliers • In-class announcements • Promotes SUG, events and campus awareness

Committee Responsibilities Membership Chair • Drives and plans new membership initiatives • Timing • Events • Coordinates with communications committee to support membership drives • Recruits SUG members to participate on membership committee • Informs President of any problems, issues or improvements needed

Committee Responsibilities Professional Relations Chair • Coordinates with professional community to promotes SUG recruiting events • Solicits professional community for job leads and internships • Maintains career opportunities section on WebCT • Promotes resume book to professional community members • Maintains SAP careers presentation to include: • Certifications overview • Potential SAP careers • Salary overview
