Betty Waltersdorf - On Education

Betty Waltersdorf is a professional English teacher who has always stressed the importance that there is nothing in life you can’t solve if you are willing to learn. The power to learn is something that sets people apart from other species and has helped us to create society. Without the ability to learn and adapt and grow, people would not have been able to overcome obstacles and grow. If we were incapable of learning, humanity would have stayed in the Stone Age, or worse, become extinct.

  1. Betty Waltersdorf On Education Betty Waltersdorf is an English instructor who has been working closely with developing children for many years now. She cannot stress enough to her students the value of a good education. Education does not just serve as an avenue for creating a career but also helps to create and cultivate an individual, arming them with the information necessary to thrive in any environment.

If we were incapable of learning, humanity would have stayed in the Stone Age, or worse, become extinct.

  3. Betty Waltersdorf For the Children When Betty Waltersdorf is asked why she became a teacher, an occupation that is usually underpaid and underappreciated, she doesn’t hesitate to say that it was for her love of children. For her, it is more important that her career is meaningful than profitable. She wanted a way to give back to the community, to do something profound for society.

  4. Betty Waltersdorf Friendly Competition Betty Waltersdorf stated that as an English teacher, one of the most difficult things is not teaching children, but getting them motivated to learn. She says that most students are quite bright, but the ones that perform poorly usually simply aren’t applying themselves. That is why she has come up with friendly competition system where the class competes with each other for the highest scores, earning them rewards and special privileges. These students require special attention and care. Betty says that you would be surprised how far a little helping hand can go with these children’s education.
