  2. This slide show presentation will discuss the following three aspects. • Why mummification was done. • Who was mummified. • How mummification was done.

  3. Why Mummification Was Done • Belief in afterlife. • The Egyptians thought in the eternal life you would live forever • To have the Egyptians come alive and roam in the after life .

  4. How Mummification Was Done • They were buried with ushabits that did work for them in the after life. • They would save up money so they could have a proper burial. • The mummification process lasted 70 days!
