4. WG4 – Enhanced and Advanced Alarm Methods
Working group 4 (WG4) is charged with the development of Technical Reports and Recommended Practices providing guidance on advanced and enhanced alarm methods. WG4 focuses on the scope of ISA-18.2 clause 12. Enhanced alarm design covers guidance on additional logic, programming, or modeling used to modify alarm behavior. These methods may include: dynamic alarming, state-based alarming, adaptive alarms, logic-based alarming, predictive alarming, as well as most of the designed suppression methods.

Part 1: Introduction: Purpose, Scope, Organization
Part 2: Problems and Methods
Prefer to organize by problems, but generally following ISA-18 Clause 12 content
Part 3: Work Process and Alarm Integrity
