    2. What is the Foundation Plan? This plan shows the “birds eye” view of the footings, piers, posts, support beams and foundation walls. This plan is normally drawn after the floor plans, elevations, and calculations for supports are completed.

    3. What is shown on Foundation Plan Footings are shown with hidden lines-------------- Walls are shown with solid lines Arrows with directions of floor joist, and size of floor joist 2x10 joist 16” O.C Windows Vents Doors Labeling such as unexcavated, crawl space

    9. Dimensioning Concrete Dimensioning shows size and location Dimension from outside of wall or opening to outside of wall or opening Label sizes in one direction so it can be read from one direction without rotating the paper Label sizes in feet and inches Outside of wall to center of piers

    10. Line sizes Extension lines: 3/8 long…1/4 overhang Dimensioning small areas:arrows pointing in Don’t forget arrowheads
