Dear Pastor Khayo, I also greet you in Jesus name.  I now and then receive scam emails from Africa and would probably have deleted this one except for a few details which took place in my life which make me look into this further.   This morning, at about 7:35 am or so, I was reading in Acts, chapters 9 and 10, and when I reached verse 10:4, I was tempted to stop reading and try to return to my computer to begin some other work for the day.  However, my wife was on the computer and the Holy Spirit prompted me to “push in” and read some more.  I did obey Him and as I read more I began to identify with Cornelius, Peter, and God’s great work of putting the two of them together and the subsequent revival and ministry to the early church.  As I continued reading, I began praying that God—the same yesterday, today, and forever—would cause me also to hear and be available whenever He spoke.  I was especially alert to the “limited” word of knowledge and the limited vision of God gave in advance to both Cornelius and Peter that caused them both to respond in simple obedience, not knowing the great things which were about to take place.  They both simply acted on the light they were given, and knew exactly they were confirmed to be going in the right direction as the events came together.

Then, at 7:50 or so, I finished my Bible reading and came to my computer and checked my email to • find your email at the top of my list of eleven emails.   • There seemed to be a parallel with Peter and Cornelius.  I had JUST PRAYED to be available like both Peter and Cornelius. • The fact that there is no apparent scam in the email here struck me.  • There was nothing to click on, no attachments, and no suspected virus • it was all written in caps, and • I did a quick check on a search engine to see if there really was a “Deliverance Church” in Nakuru and found there is.   • You are not asking for money, just my presence.  • I do have a website where I can be contacted, so it really could have happened as you said.  • There is not much on the website which would tell you about me, so you would not personally know if I was a minister, yet you invited me to minister. • You mentioned teaching.  I also have a gift of teaching in the body of Christ, and • You mentioned ministry.  I minister here regularly.  • Furthermore, in past years, I have been on “successful” mission trips to Moldova, and wanted to go there again this year, but just yesterday, I determined that I should not pursue going there, though my heart says to go out and minister.  I felt empty in the decision to not go.

4. I very rarely have responded to emails from people whom I don’t know but this is an exception.  I am intentionally leaving out details about myself (like my name) to lead up to the next question.  Since I am also wondering (as Peter was “pondering” Acts 10:17), if this is really legitimate, would you to supply to me name of my website to verify that you are legitimate? In this first response, I am only signing below with my email address, and yet am completely open to the Lord about coming to Kenya and accepting your invitation.  If this is of the Lord I will accept your invitation.
