SGS Beta was found as "Beta Analytic" in 1979. ISO 17025-accredited SGS Beta is a dedicated testing laboratory offering biobased content testing via Carbon-14 measurement. Biobased content testing is used by product manufacturers and distributors to determine how much of a material used in the formulation of a product has been derived from biomass instead of petroleum-based alternatives.
