What is meant by vector illustration?

Vector graphics are made up of lines, curves and points designed to retain their quality and avoid blurring when enlarged. They use colors that are separated into different types and sizes. Conversely, regular pixels are blended together to form a color. This makes changing colors easier when editing vector graphics.
