Increased rate of industrialization leads to Production of toxic gases like CO, CO2, and other hazardous gases leads to ozone depletion which is main cause of global warming and a threat to environment. CO2 gas contributes in relation to 63.33 of global warming. The factories which manufacture cement are responsible for a quantity of the CO2 gas production because the production of one ton of Portland cement emits around one ton of CO2 into the ambiance. To eliminate the main cause of global threat CO2 , the new idea came in to existence i.e. use of substitute materials in construction industry. For this purpose, the uses of industrial dissipate products and agricultural by products are very beneficial. These industrial dissipate and agricultural by products such as Silica Fume, Rice Husk Ash, Slag, and Fly Ash etc, are capable of used as cementing materials due to their pozzolanic behavior, these products require large tract of lands for dumping. Five dissimilar replacement levels 5 , 7.5 , 10 , 12.5 and 15 are selected for the study concern to replacement method with range of curing stage starting from 7 days and 28 days are considered in the present study. The water cement ratio used in this study is 0.40.The all results were compared to concrete without RHA. The compressive, split tensile and flexural strength were compared with those concrete without RHA. The results show that the rice husk ash gives the good performance on compressive, split tensile and flexural strength at the age of 28 days of curing. The results were evaluated with the concrete without RHA. The saturated water absorption results shows that the percentage of water absorption of concrete with containing 7.5 12.5 replacement of cement by RHA is decrease as compare to concrete without containing RHA. A study on pervious concrete is the balance of permeability and mechanical properties as well as durability. Pervious concrete is important in concrete industry due to the increased awareness of environmental protection. Natural pozzolan is used as a supplementary cementitious material to partially replace of Portland cement in concrete. In this paper mainly focuses on experimental study of different replacement of cement with Popa volcanic natural pozzolan in pervious concrete. This research work is made previous concrete on 10 , 20 by weight replacement of cement with and without pozzolan. 19mm maximum size of crushed gravel was used. Type I Portland cement and water reducing and retarding concrete admixture were used. Mix design is based on the no slump method from the American Concrete Institute's Committee 211.3R 02. This concrete is tested for its properties, such as density, void content, water permeability and the compressive strength with various ages. As the technology is getting advanced day by day bringing the enhancement in comfort level of the human beings for example use of plastic containers. The use of plastic and metal containers has became very popular for carrying any liquid or semi liquid content. But if we see as per the rule of nature every action has a reaction likewise after looking at the advantages there are many disadvantages for example the plastic material used for making is not decomposible naturally and has to be taken care of artificially. So the researchers today are finding the way out for processing, recycling or reusing such material for some other purpose. In today scenario the constructions globally are increasing rapidly so there is a need of the construction industry to find out the cost effective materials for increasing the strength of concrete structures. Keeping this in mind the researcher has decided to study the influence of addition of waste materials like lathe waste, soft drink bottle caps, empty waste tin, waste steel powder as a mixing material with the concrete in the percentage of maximum 1 to 1.2 of total weight of concrete. All the scrap material mentioned above was collected and processed in to strips of approximately size of 15 to 25 mm. Today due to Global warming there is a need of using maximum quantity of such recyled material by which we can conserve the natural resources and reduce the amount of materials going to our landfills. Large quantities of metal waste are generated from empty metal cans and bottle caps of juices and soft drinks. This is an environmental issue as metal waste is difficult to biodegrade and involves processes either to recycle or reuse. Today the construction industry is in need of finding effective materials for increasing the strength of concrete structures with low cost, and with less environmental damage. In this study the researcher has tried his level best for the positive results by using the waste or scraped metal material as a partial substitute for coarse aggregate with the help of orange leaves powder as a plasticizer. The parameters like slump, demoulded density, split tensile strength, compressive strength, flexural strength properties at different percentages replacement of coarse aggregate with waste bottle caps were investigated in the laboratory. In this investigation, after conducting certain laboratory tests the researcher has done the comparison between plain cement concrete and the metal fiber reinforced cement concrete in various proportions by weight. The metal fibers used in this study were irregular in shape and varying aspect ratio. Analytical comparison of both the samples was done for the parameters like compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural strength. After the completion of 28 days the strength of metal fiber reinforced material concrete was found increased when compared with the strength of plain cement concrete. Experimental Research on the Strength of Concrete for Local Cement with Various Replacement Materials

The main purpose of this paper is to study the effects of "Various replacement materials for cement in concrete strength. Materials used in this research are abundant in Mandalay, Myanmar. In this paper, the chemical composition and physical properties of AAA cement is analysed. Cement replacement materials used in this research are blast furnace slag powder which is obtained from iron and steel industry from Mandalay Industrial Zone, fly ash, and granite quarry dust which obtained from BaeLin, KyaukSe. The physical properties of cement, blast furnace slag powder, fly ash and granite quarry dust, sand and aggregate are tested according to ASTM standard procedure. The specific gravity test, water absorption test and fineness modulus of fine and coarse aggregates are also carried out. The compressive strength of concrete is tested without and with replacement of cement materials. The dosages of fly ash are 10 , 20 and 30 respectively and Blast furnace slag powder, 10 , 20 , 30 and 40 proportions are used for cement replacement. Different proportions of granite quarry dust 5 , 10 , 15 , 20 and 25 are also considered in this research. The compressive strengths of concrete are tested with cement and with cement replacement materials. The samples are tested for 7, 28, 60 and 91 days compressive strength. Security Analysis of Cement Industry

The main purpose of this project is to perform Security Analysis of Cement Sector and find out the possibilities and opportunities in this sector which can maximize the return. Indian economy being the one of the developing economies in the world, companies in India are growing at a faster rate as compared to the growth rate decade back. Many Indian companies are expanding their business globally with merger and acquisition. As companies grow their investors get benefitted with good dividend and capital appreciation. Valuations can be done by two ways approach .One is top down approach and second is bottom up approach. It begins with analysis of sector in which one wants to invest, if the sector looks positive then analyse various companies in the sector. A company is analysed fundamentally to check its performance and financial strength. Technical analysis is used to decide right price to buy stock and to study various chart patterns of selected companies. The observed patterns are tested with various indicators and oscillators and decision about particular stock is made. Based on price movement trend of a particular stock is observed. This report starts with the sector analysis of cement industry followed by fundamental analysis of the companies. Analysis of the sector has been done. Cement industry is analysed on the basis of various factors and indicators and ratios. After analysing these companies, stock price is estimated by Relative Valuation Method and the shares have been bought by means of creating a portfolio. Ratios are calculated and then the growth and value of the stock were determined. This report means to narrow down the gap between retail investor and equity market by simplifying basic investment strategies and give basic knowledge about fundamental and technical analysis. This report will help the investors to recognise about the current growth potential of Indian Economy in relation with Cement sector. They will get to know various factors affecting this sector and their impact on the growth of the sector. It will help them in comparing the stocks and their predicted future share prices, to invest in better options and get maximum returns. Structural Analysis of Stabilization and Consolidation Settlement of Selected Laterite Soil using Cement Lime and Butime

The problem confronting roads in Nigeria is increasing immensely. It is ranging from folding or deflection of road surface and cracking due to improper investigation, soil stabilization and consolidation. Soil stabilization is of great importance because it is used to improve on site materials to create a solid and strong sub base and base coarses. Unsatisfactory soil and solids structures which do not have the desired quality as an engineering material need stabilization so as to improve its engineering material for better construction. This work is aimed at determining structural analysis of stabilization and consolidation settlement of soil structure interaction. This is done to ascertain the effect of soil stabilization of selected laterite using cement, lime and bitumen. Liquid limit test, compaction test, Plastic limit test and California Bearing Ratio CBR test were conducted using comparing Mechanical, Chemical, Cement and Bio Enzymatic stabilization method. It was observed that Cement stabilization is the best option as it could effectively implemented in this work. Ohaofia soil that is treated with 10 ordinary Portland cement can be recommended to be used as Base coarse for road construction. This is because its mixture satisfies both the strength and durability requirement that were set by different agencies for the Base coarse materials. While for Isikwuato soil was treated with 8 bitumen is recommended for Road Sub base surface as it gave the highest CBR value. It is observed that Lime is not a good stabilizer for road construction, but the CBR value achieved met up required standard for Road and Bridges. Based on the various results obtained, it is recommended that utilization of the locally available soil should be given due consideration for upcoming road construction within the study area and Cement stabilization is more suitable for road construction.
