  1. What Does the Quran Say about the Bible? In verse 3 of Surah Al-Imran of the Qur’an, Allah says: He has sent down to you the Book of Truth confirming the previous books, and He has sent down the Torah and the Gospel. In another place Allah says: And following in the footsteps of these Prophets, we sent Isa bin Maryam Those who confirmed the Torah, the first book of theirs and gave them the Gospel, which is a guide and a light and the Torah which confirms the Book before it, and guides and advises those who guard (against evil). { Surah Al- Maida:46}. The term Bible is not found in the Qur’an. In Quran Bible is called the Injeel which was revealed to Prophet Isa (A.S). Except for the Qur’an, all other books have been distorted, so the Qur’an says that it is necessary to believe in these books but not to follow them. Because over time these books were changed. But the Qur’an bears witness to these books, and also Quran testifies to the nations upon which they are revealed. Introduction of the Bible:

  2. The Injeel (Gospel) is an Arabic word that means “Good news” that is called the Bible in modern times. The Gospel is the third inspired book revealed to Prophet Isa (A.S). And the Old Testament of the Bible was completed around 165 BC. The Injeel is never referred to by the Quran as a ‘Kitab’, (87:16) or ‘Kitabu Isa’ (Book of Isa), but plainly as ‘Injeel’. Difference between Quran and Bible: The Quran is the only book having the title “Kalamullah” Quran Comes from the highlights level of all his names with the title of Allah of the realms. Quran is a universal book addressing all humankind, all the positive and religious sciences as seeds, past and the future generations. Allah informed through ayahs to protect Quran and that no holy book shall be revealed after the Quran. And Allah revealed the book of the Bible which meets the needs of a particular tribe, a particular age. The only people in the Bible who are mentioned are the people of that time. Bible treated only specific subjects such as Du’a advice etc. The Bible has been distorted over time this is the head of the Christian versions which has more than 200,000 differences.
