  1. What Does Quran Mean? What Does Quran Mean? The Quran is the holy book of Muslims. Quran is derived from the verb qara’awhich means “to read,” and “to recite”. Quran refers to Allah’s revealed truth. The Quran is the final revelation from Allah to our last prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W), through Gabriel (A.S). There are 30 Siparahs and 114 surahs in the Quran; every surah is divided by the verses. Verses of the Quran are also called Quran ayat. It has been written and read-only in Arabic for more than 1,400 years. But, Because Muslims around the world do not understand Arabic, that’s why the Qur’an is written in different languages. So that along with its recitation, it can be understood as well its meanings. Right Guidance: The Holy Quran was sent as a book of guidance for all humans. The Quran describes itself as a book of guidance for mankind in Surah Al Baqra 2 Ayat 185: During the month of Ramadan, the Quran was sent down as a guide to the people with Clear Signs of true guidance and as the Criterion (between right and wrong). So those of you who live to see that month should fast it, and whoever is sick or on a journey should fast the same number of other days instead. Allah wants ease and not hardship for you so that you may complete the number of days required, Allah for what He has guided you to, and gives thanks to Him. Quran contains some basic information that is not found in the other holy books. The Quran is

  2. considered the sacred word of Allah and it represents other books. The Quran is the source of guidance for today’s Muslims. Quran Summary: The Quran helps Muslims along the straight path in various matters of life. The Quran confirms and reminds the world of the teachings of the past prophets. In which there is an important part available of the story of Prophets. In the same way, the Quran describes in detail the message of happiness for the good people and for those who disobey Allah painful punishment for the bad people. In this book, there are verses of healing, asking for forgiveness and goodness for Muslims. The original purpose of the Quran is to advise, but still, we read it for the reward front. This is the reason that we have been deprived of the guidance of Allah. So we don’t just have to read the Quran; we have to understand it so that we can know its true purpose.
