  3. Mt. Vesuvius • Location: Inland from the bay of Naples, Italy • Mount Vesuvius is active but has been quiet for a while • Last Eruption: 1631 • Damage: claimed 4000 lives in 1631 and maybe more in the past but remains quiet at the time being

  4. Mount Krakatoa • Location: Indonesia • Mt. Krakatoa is active • Last Eruption: 1883 • Damage: 36,000 deaths due to tsunami formation, that hit Indonesia, Hawaii and South America in 1883
