Assignments • Thoroughly answer Lesson Assessments questions • Use complete sentences • Submit in one Microsoft Word document in size 12 font • Clearly label chapters & lesson questions • Each new chapter needs to start at the top of a new page and include the student’s name, school and chapter Course Requirements

Classes – Register tonight or e-mail Ms. Johansen at johansenk@issaquah.wednet.edu You must register by October 1st. • Must be registered to attend the class • Must attend the entire session • Please be checked in, seated and ready to go at the start time (2:15) • The student’s ride home should be arranged ahead of time and arrive promptly at the finish time (6:30) FLASH – HIV/AIDS

9. Fitness Log • Complete 75 hours of physical activity • Parent verifies • Use the form that was handed out tonight or posted on our websites Course Requirements

Acceptable Fitness activities: • Individual, Dual or Team sports • Exercise/Fitness classes • Any exercise that gets the heart rate into the target heart rate zone (24-28 beats for a 10 second pulse count). At this level of exercise, students should be breathing hard. • Activities/sports that include a coach/trainer who will verify fitness levels and time commitment • The intent is that students are getting a good workout and are achieving or maintaining a healthy fitness level. • Please contact me if you have questions
