  3. NATURAL DISASTERS “Caused by nature. Humans have limited, if any, control”

  4. Typical for tropical climates, cyclones are a natural occurrence, developing over warm waters and breaking down as they cross land. Depending on their severity, cyclones can have a massive negative impact leaving a trail of destruction with damaging winds, flooding and cutting electricity. CYCLONES

Floods are are a natural disaster caused by heavy rainfall and/or the bursting of damns,rivers etc. Floods can be unpredictable, leaving little time for preparation, and as such can have a negative impact by destroying homes, cutting off electricity, contaminating water, cutting off roads and food supply. FLOODS

  9. Massacres generally involve the uneccessary slaughter of a number of people by one or more persons. As such it is a man made disaster. MASSACRES
