  5. We know that many people could remain safe and well at home with the right support Approx. one in five admissions to the hospital are clinically avoidable

  6. ….and many people remain in hospital longer than they need to Nearly 60% of people in hospital beds could have their needs met in a non-acute environment

Our Vision …people in Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon, Boroughbridge, Pateley Bridge and the surrounding rural areas: enjoy good health, have access to good services if and when they need them and that they play an active role in making decisions about their own health and their own lives, as well as in influencing how health and social care services are delivered in the area.
