Diakrino - To judge, separate , Judging the evidence. To dissect to get to the basic parts or elements. Dokimazo - Testing It means to test, examine, discern. It has the notion examining something and judging whether it is worthy or not. 1 Thess. 5:21 Prove (Dokimazo) all things; hold to the things found to be good. Phil. 1:9-10 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight that you may be able to discern (Dokimazo) what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ.”
Judgment Condemned By God
Hypocritical Judgment Matthew 7:1-5 Judge (Krino) not, that you be not judged (Krino). 2 For with what judgment (Krino) you judge, you shall be judged (Krino): and with what measure you measure out , it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why do you behold the splinter that is in your brother's eye, but don’t consider the log that is in your own eye?
4 Or how will you say to your brother, Let me pull out the splinter out of your eye; and, behold, a log is in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first cast out the log out of your own eye; and then you shall see clearly to cast out the splinter out of your brother's eye. Paul in 1:29-32 gives a whole list of sins then he says: Rom 2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, O man, everyone who judges (Krino) ; for in that in which you judge (Krino) another, you condemn yourself, for you who judge (Krino) do the same things.
