NEA Business Model: Innovation Engine & Commissioner • NEA centres of excellence in the North West and South East set up to provide: • Innovation engine to create and test new programmes • Practioner perspective • ‘Commissioned’ providers around the UK set up to: • Extend reach, geographically and cross sector • Leverage existing best practice

  7. Our Current Provision

BTEC Qualification • Level 2 BTEC Diploma in Understanding Enterprise and Entrepreneurship: 11 mandatory units, 60 credits, 360 GLH • Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship: 9 mandatory units, choice from 6 optional units, 120 credits, 720 GLH • No other qualification allows learners aged 16-19 to study enterprise and entrepreneurship in depth

  9. Window into the Academy • Curriculum delivery: • 50% classroom based learning • 50% is practical, hands-on learning • High level of business engagement & delivery involving: • Master-classes • Workshops and surgeries • Challenges • Work experience/consultancy
