  4. Investors like • Proven management team • Big opportunity • Customers • Patent / other protection • But • TTO’s often start off with just one ‘tick’

  5. It is all about people • Expand the gene pool • Industry experience beats theory • Encourage collaboration • Keep support, supportive

  6. Members • Research Councils • Universities • Knowledge Transfer Networks • Science Parks • Others
